An armed attack on cash messengers is undertaken near a trade center in a small provincial town, an agent of Ministry of Internal Affairs dies in crossfire. A crime investigator major Rovnin, who appeared to be a close friend of the deceased, comes from Moscow to assist in the investigation. He is astonished at how savagely his friend was shot, as if someone was revenging. Local investigating bodies are convinced that they can manage this and arent too satisfied with the arrival of Moscow expert. They try to handle this as soon as possible, even at the cost of mistake. But the majors task is to find the killer, in spite of the fact that he is left nothing but to hold the investigation by himself.

The main character of the film is the poet Ivan. The lyrical direction of his work is far from the conjuncture of the perestroika period and brings him neither recognition nor money. At 40, he is the author of the only collection of poems, burdened with debts, does not find mutual understanding with his wife. However, Ivan cannot force himself to follow the "clever advice" of the literary opportunists, and rather finds oblivion in drinking with his tragicomic friend Socrates.

The text is a political intervention in the field of theory regarding the question of global capitalism and the radical position of technology in the cyberworld with a clear reference to a cyberfeminist attitude and positioning. In this respect, the question of sex and empathy in the cyberworld is raised as well as the ethical and political questioning of cloning and hybrid identities. One of the key moments in the video is the re-reading of Bush’s US war against Iraq, 2003.

Focused on the portrait of Mirjana Milosevic (The story of Mirjana M.) a kitsch melodramatic Balkan saga of power, drama, pop-folk elements and evil/demons is constructed. The apathy of feelings is caught in the dramatic tango that is slowed down for the camera eye.

Inserts from neo-avant-garde films by Emir Kusturica, Zivojin Pavlovic and Zelimir Zilnik made in the so-called Yugoslav film period of the 1970s and 1980s are re-read, re-worked, re-coded in a video story contemplating the role of different media in the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the time of world internet communications, cyborg stories and world spread computer nets. If it is true that we all part of a giant hypertext, coded by adapted and shortened CD-ROM histories, then why not try to display the video picture as hypertext, as the one which will show the hidden spots of our history and present?

The introductory film to the Slovene Ethnographic Museum's permanent exhibition offers a brief insight into important aspects of daily life of the past. It covers the migration of the Slavs onto the territory of the current Slovenia, their dwellings and farming methods, the appearance of castles and towns, peasant revolts, the formation of Slovene language. There are few archeological finds, frescoes or books bearing witness to this time, so the film also makes use of animations and reconstructions of farming and handicraft tasks.

The cross at the stream is a tragic place for the Potocký family. Beneath it, Joza, disappointed in her love for Mikeš Potocký and married against her will to his brother Franík, plunges a knife into her heart and lays a curse on the name Potocký. Under the cross at the stream many years later, a fratricide takes place when two rival brothers fight for the love of one woman. However, the cross is also the place where Štěpán meets Eva, the foster daughter of Dolanský the miller. She falls in love with Štěpán and sets her heart on breaking the curse laid by the great grandmother of the family. The people inside villa are vampires, they were called upyri in those days in Russia. They suck blood of anyone who comes to see them. The young man too much in love so he looses his head and goes directly to the nest of vampires.
